Jenny B Photography frequently asked questions page

What is your approach?

A. First of all, I'm NOT about posing you in multiple (awkward) "prom-like poses". Nooooobody wants that. I don't want to be just another random vendor who shows up on the most important day of your life and starts giving you orders. It's my heart to be able to feel like another friend, who's just as hype about your wedding as you are! (So go ahead and keep me updated on alllll the deets...I love when brides send me pics of their dress, shoes, hairstyle ideas ect.!!)

I want to get to know you and your boo-thang's story. How you met, dated, and how he proposed! I want to capture how your relationship FEELS. Therefore I tell couples I don't even want them looking at the camera most of the time because I want your images to fully show off your RELATIONSHIP. How you two interact with each other, how he looks at you, how you bust out laughing when he tickles you or whispers something in your ear, and how you tenderly embrace and hold each other.

I want to capture who you really are, so you can look back on your pictures years from now when you've been married 30+ years, and feel all the same emotions you felt when you were giddy 20-somethings about to get married! I promise I'll make your experience fun for both of you, and make your session feel like another exciting date-night out. Honestly, if you're looking for just any person with a camera, or just someone who "fits your budget", I'm not your girl....and that's okay!

How would you describe your editing style?

A. I'm SO glad you asked- it's super important that you LOVE your photographer's editing style, because that is half of the product they deliver to you!
I'm NOT the trendy dark & moody OR the traditional light & airy photographer. I'd describe my work as "timeless, with a touch of warmth and romance".
I love creating rich, deep colors, and warm, creamy skin tones all while staying true to color!

When will we get our photos?

A. For weddings, you will receive your online gallery link with all your photos within a maximum of 30 days, and for couples sessions you can expect them within a week. (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery, share them, order prints, and choose your favs!

How many pictures will we receive?

A. For an 8 hours coverage wedding, you will receive between 500 to 800 fully edited images. I don't put a cap on maximum, but always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I'll choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story. (Having a 2nd shooter will help naturally increase the number of different photos/angles you receive.)

Do you give out RAW (unedited) photos?

A. Nope! My editing is a HUGE part of the whole process of my photography style and my art. It's half of the end result I'm proud of, and deliver to you.

Why should I have a 2nd shooter?

A. I always recommend adding a second shooter if your guest count is 100+ people. This is to ensure I am able to capture as much as possible on your special day! It basically allows me to be in two places at once, which doubles the angles/shots of every moment. I have a handful of trusted professional photographers that I've worked with before that I use for 2nd shooting with me!

What happens if you can't be at our wedding?

A. For this to even happen, I would have to either be in the hospital or dealing with a family emergency/death. God forbid anything come up that would prevent me from being there, but if so I would personally find you a replacement day of photographer whom I trust, and would still edit all of your pictures.
